Civic competences for an active civil society

Forum “Civil Competences for Active Civil Society” was held over two days – 07 and 08 May 2021.

During the forum, the young people were introduced to the tools for direct civic participation in local self-government and how they can be applied to solve a problem of the local community.

Pollution of the environment in which we live and stray animals were the most frequently mentioned problems by local young people.

A problem hindering sports activities is the lack of appropriate flooring on the volleyball court. Welcome to our next events to learn which tools for direct civic participation to solve these problems will be used by young people and the results achieved.

Both days of the Forum ended with a volunteer action for planting trees in the school yard, the stadium and the square in the village of Benkovski.

Benkovski’s young people are not only the future for the development of our settlement, but also the present!
